Elie Wiesel Nobel Laureate, Peace Prize 1986. Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Humanities and University Professor at Boston University. Founder of the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity. Founding President, Academie Universelle des Cultures (Paris). Holder of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Congressional Gold Medal and French Legion of Honor.
