Branco Todorovic Branko Todorovic´ studied at the University of Belgrade and worked in the Secondary School of Economy in Bijeljina. He is professor of literature and lives in Bijeljina, South-East of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After refusing to take part in the civil war at the beginning of 1992, he lost his post as a teacher in the Secondary School for Economy and was mistreated. He spent most of the war years as a refugee. After the end of the military conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he and a group of persons with similar aims, established the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Republika Srpska, one of the most important non-governmental organizations dedicated to the protection of Human Rights in the region. He is one of the founders of the “Commission for Truth and Reconciliation in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. >> Back to top |
