Andrew Rigby Andrew Rigby is professor of peace studies and the founding director of the Centre for the Study of Forgiveness and Reconciliation at Coventry University, UK. He has been for many years also an honorary research fellow with the Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs in East Jerusalem, and has been visiting professor of peace studies at the University of Sydney in Australian and Colgate University in the USA. Professor Rigby’s wide range of research interests, include the theory and practice of non-violence, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the phenomenon of collaboration under occupation and community-based approaches to reconciliation in societies emerging out of periods of gross human rights abuse. Publications include: 14 books and over 40 scholarly articles.
