	Go back				Lennart Aspegren Judge Aspegren holds an LL.M., awarded in 1958. Magistrate at various courts; Appeal Judge in Stockholm. Legal Advisor to the Swedish Government, mainly within the Ministry of Finance, as from 1969. From 1979, Permanent Under-Secretary for Legal Affairs in different Ministries, from 1991 also for International Affairs. Special Emissary of the Ministry of Justice to the Baltic States, 1993. Justice at the Supreme Social Insurance Court 1994–1995. In addition, he sat on the Labour Court; Swedish delegate and consultant to OECD, ILO, UNDP, foreign governments. He served as a Judge on the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, ranking with a UN Under Secretary-General, from 1995 to 2000.
