Executive Director of the European Centre for Common Ground (ECCG), an international non-governmental organization, based in Brussels; and is a member of the Senior Management of ECCG’s partner organization, Search for Common Ground (SFCG) of Washington,DC. ECCG and SFCG are leaders in the field of international conflict transformation. Ms. Melone established the ECCG in 1996. Founder of the Women’s Peace Centre. Presenter at various international gatherings and written articles on media and conflict resolution, roles of NGOs within the field of Track II diplomacy and reconciliation, as well as on complementarities of governmental, non-governmental, private and intergovernmental initiatives.
