On July 18, 2011 DC-Cam presented a newly published volume titled “The Hijab of Cambodia: Memories of Cham Muslim Women after the Khmer Rouge” to director, deputy director of Cambodian Muslim Community for Development  and its staff, religious teachers, as well as a number of Cham Muslim university students at Voice of Cham Office (Radio Sap Cham), Phnom Penh. Approximately 50 copies of the publication were distributed after the presentation. A number of questions were raised by the participants focused on the Khmer Rouge period, research methodology, and the detail of Cham Muslim women’s experiences under the Khmer Rouge. The deputy director shared his own experience with the participants and he encouraged all of them to learn how to do research and read the book.
