Milena Hübschmannová


Dedicated to Roma, their laguage and culture. Between 1968-1974 lecturer at the Sociological Institute of the Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic. She is the co-author of a Romany-Czech/Czech-Romany dictionary, the author of many books and translations from Romany, a collector of Romani stories and professor of Romani Studies at the Philosophical Department of Charles University in Prague where she has been teaching Romani and romistics since 1991.

Publications include: A False Dawn (1999), Je suis née sous une bonne ètoile (2000).
