On August 7, 2014, a live screening about the Verdict on Case 002/01 was held in Sala Krao district, Pailin province. As one of the former Khmer Rouge strongholds, the screening attracted only dozens of former KR members, students, teachers and Buddhist monks. There was a relatively low participation. Among the many reasons, they were busy working in their vast agricultural lands or, possibly, took little interest in the pronouncement of the Verdict.
