The first day that he began his work at the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) on Friday January 13, 1995, Youk Chhang believed that all Khmer Rouge senior leaders who committed crimes must be prosecuted and brought to justice. Since that day, Chhang has contacted government and other private agencies in order to collect all documents from the Democratic Kampuchea period. He reads these documents every day. “I read documents like I eat breakfast,” said Chhang.
