My father and uncle died in prison.
[When I met my uncle at the prison] I waved at him to tell him not to say
anything. If the Khmer Rouge heard our conversation... If he died, my
whole
family and
I would, too.
Interrogation
was conducted during the day and night. Some prisoners were interrogated
until dawn, but interrogators had their turns. Prisoners cried in pain
when being tortured and their finger nails being pulled
