A woman from Takaev who worked at Po-1 hospital in 1978 remembered
its chairwoman Minh "as very nasty, someone who never smiled, and
never spoke to anyone except to tell them what to do." Ieng
Thirith visited Minh when she gave birth at Po-1, and Thirith also
convened meetings at the hospital meetings and the Stadium. At the
one hospital meeting the woman attended, Thirith urged those present
to study medical treatment techniques, to take good care of
patients, to have good biographies and to refashion themselves.
