A woman from Takaev who was sent in 1976 to work as a
medic in 6 January hospital recalled it as a place where the food
ration was sufficient, with rice three times a day. Instructions
were given in meetings not to commit morals violations with the
patients, and the medics were under surveillance to make sure they
were not badly behaved in this regard. The hospital chairwoman
instructed the team chiefs to conduct such surveillance. Troops
were on guard at night.
